Paratransit Service
My Ride Direct, a paratransit service operating in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, is designed to serve individuals whose disabling conditions or functional limitations prevent them from using regular fixed route service. The My Ride Direct ADA service allows paratransit fare free rides for eligible users.
In order to provide highly reliable public transportation that serves as many as possible, My Ride Direct service is contracted to York County Access, operated by York County Council on Aging. My Ride Direct paratransit service remains fare free for eligible users. Request and schedule trips through the York County Access transportation system by calling York County Access at 803-327-6694 extension 2. The service hours are the same as the current My Ride fixed-route hours.
